While I have specialized training in couples/marriage counseling, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and domestic violence, I work with a myriad of issues that arise for men and women.

Therapy is a beautiful medium for simply exploring how to live a more full life. I enjoy working with both men and women to identify and overcome the obstacles that limit their success. Finding ways to manage stress and find balance, transitioning to a new career, having a baby, seeking self-acceptance and increasing confidence.

Developmental Counseling

Whether we are an infant or an elder, we are all moving through developmental stages.  As a therapist it is important that I understand these stages and also realize when an individual is "stuck" at a stage that may be causing them problems.

Solution Focused Therapy

There are times when an individual comes to therapy with a specific issue or concern.  A strong component of Solution Focused therapy is the development of problem solving skills.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

There are times when individuals thought patterns (cognitive) are not congruent with their behavior.  For example, the meaning we may put to our behaviors and/or the behaviors of another are not reasonable, rational and/or healthy.

Person Centered Therapy

The therapeutic relationship must be based on respect, honesty, and the active participation of the client and the counselor.
